I wonder why no one commented on the post? Imagine, if we didn’t have religion? The towers would still be standing. Hitler wouldn’t have used it to declare he was somehow superior and chosen by God to do what he did. There are many examples throughout history.
Just imagine, if there wasn’t a God then most all life would not have been murdered in the flood created by God. If that were a real even, then the very God of love, mercy and understanding would have been responsible for killing most all life on earth, to include infants, babies, sucklings and the unborn child in the womb of the mother. Then we teach our kids this God is moral?
Just imagine, if this God wasn’t real, we wouldn’t be able to tell our children that if they do not believe like us then their moral god of love, mercy and compassion will burn them, by the billions, day after day for an eternity….with fire!!
Do we really need to wonder why there are so many people ready to kill in the name of a God? Bush and others are willing to claim God agreed with the war in Iraq that killed based on lies? God didn’t happen to know it was all a lie to begin with and then just agreed with Bush? Bush fooled God?
Then we have God himself telling us that he (God) “i create evil” and “if evil happens, have I not done it?” and “i create the wicked for the evil day” and “i create the waster to destroy” and “man’s steps are not of himself” and “yet all is of God”. So, their God admits to creating evil and actually doing it and makes it clear he does it by saying that man’s steps are not of himself. Then, they teach their kids this is Good and Moral?
Imagine the peace we could have without these superstitions.
It would be interesting to know how the world would be now if it were dominated by followers of the atheist religion, a world that believed in no ultimate judge of morality, a world that is centered on the unprovable idea that God does not exist, a world based on doing what one ‘feels’ is right but can’t know because there is no one to say what is right.
God did not tell anyone to attack America on 9/11.
I couldn’t agree more. The problem is that a bunch of people BELIEVED he did.
That’s right. There are many who have a distorted view of God. God does not instruct His followers to kill those who don’t believe in Him. It is the complete opposite.
