You’re gonna have to explain where that idea came from. I haven’t seen a lot of hesitation by Americans to condemn Muslim fundamentalism. Perhaps a couple citations or something. Unless you’re talking about basic Political Correctness. But who would ever accuse Bush and the boys of that?

And don’t underestimate the power of voting for one thing while turning a blind eye to other unsavory aspects. Working class people do it here in American all the time - vote for anti-gay, gun luving republicans who just take more and more money from them. “We be voting morals!” Idiots…
