At long last, I have returned. I’ve been back for about 24 hours and the trip already seems like it was a dream.

But it wasn’t a dream. It was a place. And you and you and you…and you were there. But you couldn’t have been could you? No, Aunt Em, this was a real truly live place and I remember some of it wasn’t very nice, but most of it was beautiful[…] And this is my room, and you’re all here and I’m not going to leave here ever, ever again.

Well, that’s just not true, but I won’t leave for a while, at least. I’ve been reading comments, and it seems I’ve missed quite a bit. I can’t believe I wasn’t around for the pledge ruling. Damn. Anyway, I’ll be responding to those comments that I feel require it when I have a few minutes.

I will resume the regularly scheduled programming tomorrow. To paraphrase Tim Russert, if it’s Sunday, it must be God is a Dick. In the meantime, here are a few items of interest:

Based on the ONE submission to GOD or NOT thus far, something is clearly wrong. I think the topic was just way too narrow, so I’ve expanded it from “Original Sin” to just “Sin.” I expect the contributions to come rolling in now. That’s a pretty wide-open subject.

I recently came across a page of Bible Mad-Libs. Maybe we’re just immature, but my wife and I spent well over an hour doing these and laughing our godless asses off. Go check it out.
