You're forgetting the possibility of a deity so mentally unstable as to seem like separate personalities.  It's already been compared to the standard abuse pattern of violence followed by promises of how things are going to improve.</description>

All the more reason to not give them our moneies. Not even in business. Unless they are really the only game in town.</description>
